I know this is likely a joke but depending on the Tesco the scanners can be very glitchy and/or slow
Its a bad time to be allergic to strawberries and broke.
I had something similar once, all the clubcard price yellow sticker items deducted that cost from my total. I was getting all excited looking for things to buy to make my shopping cheaper. Ended up with about £70 worth of stuff for less than half of that.
Happiness short lived as it all rang through at the correct price when I got to the self service check out
I had this happen once with some pasta sauces. They should have been £2.49 each but when I scanned one it went through at £0.10. I went back and got about 60 of them. I was sick of them after maybe the 5/6th one to be honest.
