  1. ***From Rolling Stone:***

Three of Donald Trump‘s former attorneys have accepted guilty pleas rather than face a jury in the Georgia election interference case, leaving Trump “confused,” a spokesperson said.

Appearing on The Absolute Truth, a show on Lindell TV — a streaming service run by “MyPillow guy” and Trump pal Mike Lindell — Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington said the former president just doesn’t understand why attorneys Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell and Ken Chesboro would plead guilty.

“I think [Trump is] a little confused because if you’re a lawyer, you know there’s no crimes here,” said Harrington, who is a journalist, not a lawyer. “According to the law, there’s literally nothing to plead guilty to because there’s nothing that was — no laws that were broken. Speaking out against a fraudulent election and telling people to watch hearings and petition their elected officials about fraud that was happening on camera. I mean, it’s just surprising.”

  2. Donald Trump will be imprisoned before the 2024 Presidential Election. He will likely be placed in solitary confinement to protect him from the obvious danger posed by him being in general pop. After a lifetime of pampering, going back to when he was born the son of a multi-millionaire, Donald Trump will find himself alone in a concrete cell, likely for the rest of his life.

  3. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that these are practicing attorneys and would like to hold on to their law licenses, since having a felony conviction prohibits admission to bar associations. Of course, their licenses can still be revoked due to this, but that is a matter for the associations these idiot lawyers are party to.

  4. Don’t worry Teflon Don. It’s all gonna make sense soon enough.

  5. My concern is that EVERYONE can flip on him but it won’t matter if a jury member on his case is a trump supporter. If they are willing to kill democracy and storm the capital, then they won’t think twice about ignoring all evidence presented at his trials. This is why I encourage everyone to ignore what happens to him legally, we need to VOTE like our country is teetering on the edge of full fledged fascism, because it is if trump and republicans win.

  6. Trump likes to pretend there is no evidence against him and his “allies” when in actuality there is ample evidence and the “allies” having seen some of the evidence against them are not so confused.

  7. That makes sense, he has gotten away with everything he has done for so so so long, I am positive that he simply cannot comprehend what is happening.

  8. >“I think [Trump is] a little confused because if you’re a lawyer, you know there’s no crimes here,”

Their guilty pleas are a direct reflection of just how strong the case is against them.

Powell etc might be fucking idiots but they’re lawyers and know when the writing is on the wall.

  9. He’s probably been confused most of his life, he never came off as particularly sharp.

  10. That’s because he’s so conceited and narcissistic he can’t even imagine why somebody wouldn’t want to be in the cell next to him

  11. Trump used insurrection…

Trump hurt itself in its confusion

  12. He’s confused people willing to kill for him aren’t willing to die for him.

The earth needs a new plague that only affects people who eat escargot and have huge bank accounts and multiple mansions.

  13. He can’t be confused about their pleas. People judge other people through a lens of their own behaviours. He lies so he expects other people to lie. He throws people under the bus to avoid consequences so he expects that behaviour from everyone else.

  14. He clearly doesn’t understand the concept of personal responsibility and admitting any wrong. The man thinks he is gods gift and that he is greater than god himself.

  15. This man is so profoundly stupid, I just don’t understand what anyone sees here

  16. They either keep their mouth shut and go to prison for him, or they take deals and save their own asses. It seems remarkably simple to me.

  17. Also confused by the sun, slight ramps, the weather and not fucking your daughter.

  18. He’s confused by the direction on a box of toothpicks.

  19. I have 2 takeaways:

    • I don’t think Harrington understands the laws that were violated

    • There’s a “**Lindell TV”?!?** I don’t know if there’s a shovel that’s diggy enough to reach the bottom of the barrel we’re currently in.

  20. That fucking smile he does is so goddamn stupid looking.

  21. Trump is confused by the rule of law, he doesn’t think it applies to him.

  22. He’s not confused.
He’s acting confused to give the impression to his sheep that something unbelievable is happening.
He’s a fucking serial liar and amateur actor. Why do news orgs take him at face value on anything?

  23. Im so confused why the people i directed to do illegal shit and subsequently got indicted for it and can’t pay for legal expenses even though Im a supposed billionaire seem to be taking plea deals. It’s just a mystery!

  24. It’s probably easier to list the things he’s *not* confused about, though I understand journalists have a word count quota to meet which makes that unlikely.

  25. Because he’s senile. He’s confused by everything.
