It was so so small…. not much there to miss or do we have any fans here?
But it’s yet another disappearance of a nature or science amenity for kids in the capital. The two private ones in Sandyford are gone, the Science Gallery is gone. This only leaves the dead zoo. Depressing really.
Something fishy going on here
Went there with my 2 year old niece and she loved it.I have been at loads of bigger and better aquariums but I thought this was a nice small one that was good for young kids.
That’s a shame. I remember being brought there on a surprise trip by my parents and had a great time. Haven’t been in a long time though, so there’s definitely a chance it may have declined since then.
Still, it’s a shame to lose an amenity like that.
I liked the aquarium it’s very expensive for a family but it’s always great craic and it’s great for the kids to experience sea life.

I used to go here every year around my birthday as a kid, absolutely devastating that they’re closing. I’m happy I got to go twice this year with my boyfriend. Horrible decision.
Guess you could say… it’ll be sleeping with the fishes….
