  1. I love station cats! They do need to be really loved and cared for, but, they add a lovely touch of humanity in an increasingly robotic world. Am old enough to remember a cat called Peter, who served as honorary station master, in the days when there were such people, and in proper, serious uniforms too …station garden competions, hanging baskets, even manned ticket offices …

  2. Redruth station in Cornwall has a cat, I think that one of the east Elizabeth line ones does too (cannot remember which, was sent a photo from a work colleague).

  4. There’s a big fat cat that perches like that on a pillar near me, seems to know roughly when the school/work day ends and sits his ass there for all the pets. I’ve seen a queue to pet him before
