  1. Never have so many spaniards agreed on something. Proud of my hermanos.

  2. Just let Catalonia be independent if they want. I’ll never understand anti-separatist movements

  3. Catalanophobia is a real thing. Fortunately it can be easily traced following the drool trail.

  4. As a separatist Catalan, I also agree with them. The political prisoners must be kept to keep the conflict alive. We mustn’t let Spain try to paint a picture of correction, normalcy and reconciliation after what happened with the Spanish authorities during the 1-O and the repression that followed.

  5. A brief history of catalan presidents:

    – **Francesc Macià:** Imprisoned / Exiled
    – **Lluís Companys:** Imprisoned / Exiled / Executed
    – **Josep Irla:** Exiled
    – **Josep Tarradellas:** Exiled
    – **Jordi Pujol:** Imprisoned
    – **Pasqual Maragall:** —
    – **José Montilla**: —
    – **Artur Mas:** Disabled
    – **Carles Puigdemont:** Disabled / Exiled
    – **Joaquim Torra:** Disabled

  6. > ~~separatists~~ political prisoners

Some country’s criminals are someone else’s freedom fighters

  7. “Free Palestine!”

    “Ok so also free Catalonia?”

    “>:(“

  8. And many of these same Spaniards will then rally in support of Hamas. The hypocrisy is disgusting

  9. I’m against the independence of Catalonia. But even if it makes a lot of people angry, the situation is better if they receive amnesty. Keeping them in prison is only going to fuel the movement more. It literally doesn’t solve anything.

We need to find solutions to the conflict, and the only possible way is by both the Spanish government and the separatist movement to make concessions to each other.
