Hei, I hope someone here has some insights on my questions, or maybe knows where to look to find answers 🙂

I am a EU citizen, and I lived in Norway until June of this year. I was a university student for the previous two years, so I registered with the police upon my arrival. In January 2023 I started doing a small part-time job at university, and continued doing that job remotely after I moved back to my country.

Now what I am wondering is: do I have to pay taxes in Norway even though I don’t live there? I will be earning less than 70000kr this year, so I think I would be exempted from paying taxes even if I were living in Norway. However, the skatteetaten website (https://www.skatteetaten.no/en/person/taxes/tax-deduction-card-and-advance-tax/exemption-card/) tells me that I should automatically receive an exemption card (which I don’t have), and that if I don’t have it I can order one, but only if I stay in Norway through a full year (which I am not).

To complicate the matter, while I am earning less than 70000kr from my Norwegian employer, I recently started a new job in Italy, so overall I will earn more than 70000kr during the year (but they will be coming from two different employers and two different countries).

So: will I have to pay taxes in Norway?
