It’s extremely important that this be adjudicated, and we get some semblance of precedence ASAP. This topic hasn’t even been brought up in a significant way since the Civil War and we have a fascist, insurrectionist, soon-to-be felon pretender/usurper as the front runner of one of the two major political parties.

He should be banned from holding any political office for his involvement with the Jan 6th attack. What really shocks me is that Republicans still think he is a viable candidate after all he has done. Do they really believe he is innocent of all 91 felonies AND was never involved with Jan 6th or are their standards just extremely low for their candidates now?
Oh please. Pretty please. a few swing states do this and its a sure thing for Trump to be out and a GOP split vote keeps a blue white house. Although I would still like to see Biden resign as soon as he gets elected, but that would never happen.
Definately no Trump fan, but shouldn’t Trump be convicted in the jan 6 trial first? Seems odd to me to use an insurrection clause when the insurrection still has to be proven in court. Would be an easy pro trump verdict from his supreme court otherwise. Not much hope in that department anyways, but if they save his ass, it should be crystal clear that it’s not a legally sound decision.

Colorado and Minnesota are states where he has a tiny chance of winning anyways. Colorado has turned into a solid blue state, and no GOP presidential candidate has won Minnesota since 1972

The 14th amendment is pretty clear on the issue, much more clearly stated than the 2nd amendment about running and arming a militia says anything about getting to wave around your assault weapons in public.

While I would love for him to NOT be on the ballot, the only way MAGA dies is with a resounding defeat. By not allowing him to run, it gives another reason for these people to get angry and it “proves” their point.

You need to get him banned in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania if you want the GOP party to care.
