I hadn’t realised that Ash Regan, MSP for mostly the same area, was auditioning to appear there.
More seriously – what on earth is she thinking? She’s going to get destroyed if she stands for Alba against the SNP (which is, of course, the exact reason the SNP are calling for her to stand down and cause a byelection, and the exact reason that she won’t). Every single election, at every level, where Alba have gone up against the SNP, they’ve been humililated.
Talking so absolutely confidently about how she knows her constituents will react just shows she doesn’t know them… if she actually believes what she’s saying, of course.

Resign
You should be forced to resign if you leave the party you got elected with, in my opinion.
Far too many of these clowns stealing a wage at every level of politics.
From independent councillors who join a party because they’ve been promised a vice chair position on an area committee at local government level, to MSPs who ditch their party as soon as it’s no longer serving them a purpose.
Her electorate voted for SNP representation. Go back to the polls and prove otherwise.
