Zelenskyy is one man – he has rallied his people. He is asking for aid non stop. He is trying to tackle corruption.
This is all done by one man. It’s easy to point the blame at Zelenskyy but he trying to win a war when he’s outnumbered 1 : 3.5 both in popularity and economically compared to Russia.
He is rallying an entire country that has less people, money, soldiers and weapons. Expecting him to put a smile on his face 24/7 is unrealistic.
I would love to see any other world leader do half as much as him. Perhaps the question is why doesn’t every citizen in Ukraine participate and help with volunteering, help the armed forces, stop corruption, etc.
This man is working around the clock non stop to win this war. It’s easy to sit and criticize him when others aren’t doing the same. Perhaps everyone else should put in as much effort and him then we can talk
Criticism is fine – but stop acting like this man isn’t giving every ounce of his life and energy for his country. Others need to step up and help. He can’t do it alone.

No Allied Country should ever give up on Ukraine, & as a British Citizen I believe my Country should deliver, owes Ukrainian’s, as much as possible until the Ukrainian People & Country are free of Adolf Putin.
Putin has tried to destabilise the West for decades, he’s sent assassins, tested military capabilities & basically laughed while doing it, smugly sending a message of…., what are you going to do about it, well this is where his actions have brought us, & so every Allied Nation should state that they are in this to the end, mean it & deliver on it.

the target readership – and this is US citizens – could think that no additional military aid is needed.

This is true because Zelenskyy has to deal with a lot of politicians and not all ….
When I read news about rallies that Ukrainians would rather spend on the fight against the Russians than on the regional budget, it’s a different picture.
Yes, he believes in the victory of Ukraine, but Zelenskyy is not alone, it is also the Ukrainian people.
Zelenskyy is an icon to the world and will be known a hero! Putin will be known as terrorist and will live in infamy along with Hitler!

The author of this article is a russian who moved to the USA with his family in 1989, then returned to Moscow and worked for the Moscow Times since 2006.
**Here are some of his past articles where he spreads the russian narrative and propaganda:**
On February 20, russia invaded Crimea, but for this russian author it did not exist, for him the war began only in 2022. His article is based on the absurd “Support for the war is decreasing” who writes like that? We did not start this war.
He also had articles in 2015 about the fact that Russians and Ukrainians are actually brothers, but propaganda from both sides prevents this.
2-3 weeks before the full-scale invasion, he said that russia would not attack Ukraine.
Also, almost all of his article is based on an anonymous source from an adviser to the president. Who is this? I think that it was most likely an idiot Arestovych who was fired for his lies on television. Everyone in Ukraine knows that the Arestovych is an idiot and clown who wants to become president and spreads lies for political points.
