The China ‘Belt and Road’ initiative was supposed to go through Ukraine. Russia stood to gain billions in no questions asked $ as long as they took Kyiv in three days. I’m sure Trump would have gotten his cut had he won the election.
Now that actual democracy and her defenders are fighting back against the spread of authoritarianism, MAGA has picked its side, leaving the old and frail GOP to gasp is death knell.
I never thought I would be on the same side as Mitch, but here we are. Zelensky needs our help, the Ukrainian people need our help, probably even more than the Israelis do since they’ve always gotten our help in the past.
If you want to contain authoritarian regimes, fund Ukraine and make Israel play by the rules of war!

Mitch has temporal lobe epilepsy I think. I had that and read a lot of similar mockery about me in comments here. He’s a nasty piece of work who has done a lot of damage, but a stopped clock is right once a day.
