The Israeli state is certainly not innocent in the whole Middle Eastern conflict. But that doesn’t change the fact that Putin is wrong.
I guarantee the last thing the US wants right now is a war in the middle east. We have been slowly withdrawing from the area, much to the chagrin of our allies in the region, and now we are having to go back.
Biden’s poll numbers have plummeted since the start of the war. He has royally pissed off the left of his party. They are are talking about Biden supporting genocide and blah blah blah. This all makes a Trump presidential win more likely.
Ukraine will get hurt from this by the US being distracted. There are already reports of Israel using cluster munition that should have gone to Ukraine.
It’s all bad for US interests and the only one to benefit from the chaos is Russia.
