Lisa Ann Walter slams Megan Fox for mocking SAG-AFTRA’s Halloween costume guidelines

  1. It is a fairly lame and infantile requirement.

Sure, if you have Brie Larson getting photographed at a party in a Captain Marvel suit or Jason Momoa having people take pictures of him trick-or-treating with his kids while dressed up as Aquaman, then they’re quite clearly using Halloween as an excuse to circumvent the restrictions about promoting films and would deserve to be ripped for that.

Wearing a costume which happened to be in a film a couple decades or so ago, however, has nothing to do with anything and isn’t close to crossing any lines.

  2. Give me a break. Acting like Megan Fox dressing as Kill Bill of all things is gonna hurt the strike. I hope Lisa Ann Walter doesn’t hurt herself patting herself on the back.

  3. The strikes happened in the first place because of the egos of studio executives, but stuff like this is starting to make me think that it’s on the actors end that the strikes haven’t wrapped up yet.

Being nit-picky about something like this is wild, and the internet makes a great echo chamber to normalize stuff like this. I remember there was outcry against A-list actors wanting to eliminate the SAG dues cap because it would hurt the strike, even though that’s a dream scenario for the people the strike is supposed to help.

  4. Stop focusing on stupid shit and get people back to work. The whole industry is suffering.

  5. SAG members blowing this informal guidance on costumes out of proportion only hurt negotiations. It’s a polite suggestion in response to questions from SAG members. Writers got everything they wanted via solidarity, actors spreading misinformation that the union is dictating their kids Halloween costumes or whatever need to chill the fuck out.

AMTPT walked away from negotiations, I’m sure they’re loving watching actors fight the union now, actors love attention too much not to sabotage this whole thing, and the people that suffer from a bad deal aren’t the ones with their own alcohol brand.

  6. What next?! Stop making pop culture references because of the strike?! Its an over reach to control peoples life outside of work

  7. People are losing their homes, who gives a fuck what Megan fox dressed as for Halloween.

  8. Megan fox is such fucking trash, gross and a terrible actress to boot. I don’t even know what this article is about, I just came here to trash that hack

  9. Nothing helps a strike quite like infighting over a fucking Halloween costume.

  10. If you are in SAG-AFTRA just do anime character costumes. It a way to be able to still dress up in fun outfits and not break guidelines.

  11. The rule was an overreach and really stupid. That is someone’s person life and they can do what they want in that moment.

  12. It’s insane to try and regulate what actors do in their private lives in this way
