The public bickering probably means Hezbollah joining the war with Hamas against Israel is now officially off
This is where the violence needs to be re-directed – let these 2 groups of a-holes fight it out and do depraved things to each other and leave innocents alone.
Maybe they should fuck off into some arena, and have it out Royle Rumble style and leave us all in peace, yeah ?
But seriously, Mashal is probably shitting himself despite his bluster. Good.
People talk about the Palestinians getting an independent state like they will somehow become a prosperous nation. Every leader the Palestinians have ever had has been corrupt. Most of the organizations that represent Palestinians hate each other only slightly less than they all hate Israel. The moment they get a state, there will be a Palestinian civil war. Sunni islamists vs Shia islamists vs Palestinian Nationalists vs Marxists vs etc.
Excellent, stoke the flames of discontent
These idiots can’t get out of their own way. It shows that Iran’s ability to keep these pikers in order to cooperate strategically against Israel is overrated. It’s like bloodthirsty Keystone Kops being managed by the incompetent W.C. Fields.
Iran is feeding money and arms to Hamas and Hezbollah just to harass Israel. Obviously, there is no regional military strategy by a “puppetmaster” Iran, unless everything stated by Hamas/Hezbollah for public consumption is misdirection.
Why should Israel go through the misery of defenestrating Hamas from Gaza, just to see it all come back again with more Iranian money? One day Israel will decide Enough and put a long-distance, high-tech hammer down on Iran and thus trigger their own regime change. (Who’s going to shed a tear or wave a flag for Iran on that day?) The miscalculating, prison-emptying paper tiger (in conventional arms) Russia is being hamstrung militarily in Ukraine with NATO assistance, so for the time being Iran has less backup/deterrence in the form of Russia if facing a serious military incursion. Game it out and maybe it’s not looking so good for Iran right about now.
Fight! Fight! Fight!
This is somewhat unexpected.
oh
>In an interview with the Lebanese Al-Jadeed channel, journalist Faysal Abd al-Sattar said “this story is unwelcome. Someone sitting in a Gulf state dares to tell Hezbollah, ‘Thank you, but it’s not enough.’ Khalid Mashal has no positive influence on our Shiite environment, particularly after what happened in Syria.” **He referred to Hamas’s support for anti government forces during the Syrian civil war when Hezbollah sided with the regime.**
That is the real issue.
I would have thought that if Iran was pulling the strings, they’d be able to give hezbollah whatever motivation they needed for a combined attack. This entire time I presumed there was some moves behind the scenes for years, and there was going to be a combined attack.
Hamas trains in Iran, Hezbollah follows, Israel retaliates, hastily. Arab states, as well as many other allies ditch Israel over their retaliation, and then you set the stage for a larger attack once Israel is committed in Gaza, without any support.
So far, that has yet to materialize. Except some protests…
edit: As far as backstabbing goes. Israel had close ties with Russia.
It would not surprise me if Hezbolla, through Syria, Iran, and Russia provoked this attack to distract the west from Ukraine, and promised it would be part of a larger concerted effort, and just left them hanging. Hezbolla sees the Sunis taken down a peg. Syria gets revenge for Hamas supporting the “wrong” side in a brutal civil war, and Russia gets the support of a far-right strongman in Bibi, who’s ideologically closer to Russia than the US. Also, the far-right anti-muslim Jew-baiting on social media will garner support for the far right in European elections, which will bring about pro-Moscow politicians.
That said, I’m guessing, I don’t have access to any behind the scenes info, so this is wild conjecture.
I think instead of using war machines and manufactured weapons, disputes among groups should be settled with miniature robots like that TV show Robot Wars.
Everyone gets the same materials to build the best robot with the same amount of self selected team members.
One Robot War per one dispute.
Whoever’s robot leaves the mini octagon intact wins whatever the dispute was about and gets to drag the loser opponent on twatter.
What seeing DEVGRU, Delta, and two carrier groups does to a mf.
ultra rare Hezbollah W
US naval forces casually intercepting missiles like a mama with a flip flop. She’s gonna smack you down if you don’t stop.
Looks like Hezbollah is in a quagmire. On the one hand, these limited small scale attacks they launch against Israel are much more costly for them than for the Israelis (IDF lost less than 10 soldiers, Hezbollah at least 50 but probably closer to 100). On the other hand, a full scale war with the Israelis not taking shit anymore & 2 USS carriers in the region mean they will get their ass whooped, and they have plenty of enemies in Lebanon and Syria to take advantage of that.
This is why Israel’s powerful army is important. It creates a brick wall of reality, and even its enemies ultimately need to come to terms with it
Wait I thought hamas’ whole plot was to anger the other nations and have Hezbollah came save their asses this is not what they want lol
I’ve seen a lot of talk these past few weeks talking about Hamas as if it were an Iranian proxy, which could not be further from the truth. Iran and its proxies’ relationship with Hamas is just of convenience and having a common enemy. It is absolutely not in Iran or Hezbollah’s interest for Hamas to do anything except stir up some minor unrest. They hate each other.

There, I’ve fixed everything, you’re welcome, World.
