I nearly put my hand on one when I opened the door! Used to get the odd one,and I know it’s wet out…but never this many. Anyone else getting loads of slugs on their doors lately? Any advice to stop this happening appreciated!

  1. I was just thinking 🤔…I wonder if I sprayed the door tomorrow with white vinegar, that might stop them? If I sprayed the door in the day and when they come out at night and try to climb up the door, the vinegar might kill them and they’ll fall off?

  2. Plain old cheap table salt. Sprinkle it on them to kill them, and then lay handfuls around the areas where they come up.

  3. Just gently scoop them up and put them back in your garden, if you’re too selfish to sign your deeds over to them.

  4. I used to have a slug problem, then I got slug nematodes. You water the garden with them and these tiny parasites eat the slugs from the inside out. Totally safe for pets and people.

  5. Did you consider a line of talcum powder and singing a song by the spice girls?

  6. We’ve had a few in the sitting room (just inside front door) and it baffles me where they come from. I stepped on one in my bare feet which is not the most pleasantest of experiences!
