  2. Fortunately for Boeing, Airbus has really lagged on militarized airliners like AWACS and MPRA.

Unfortunately for Boeing, after losing FLRAA and on the outside looking in for FARA, their future vertical lift prospects are looking pretty bleak so it makes sense they’d try to push these platforms while they’re still competitive.

  3. Yeah. How ’bout that.

Just when they needed a war or two – pop! There’s a war or two.

Fucking war pigs and death merchants – big money : many deaths : just not them.

  4. >However, Boeing executives don’t think of their company as simply an American brand. The vast majority of their jetliners are sold to foreign carriers, and their defense business has durable relations with militaries in Europe, the Middle East, South Asia and the Pacific littoral.

    >Increasingly, the company—a contributor to my think tank—wants to be thought of as part of the hometown team in places like India, and it is willing to invest to demonstrate its commitment to local aerospace markets.

Boeing execs truly are stupid enough to actually believe this. The MBA’s have been slowly running the company into the ground for a long time now
