They are building one more floor

Hey everyone!

Does anyone have experience with what to do if there is a fucking construction site over your head? ;))) I’m literally going insane

They are building another floor instead of a roof and I’m living on the last floor. They start really early in the morning like 7-30 so they wake me up quite often.

And the worst part is that I work from home and it really sucks to leave my home office to be able to work in silence.

It’s not every day right now, but it starts to be more regular. The noise level is kinda insane too, I used a random app to measure it and it’s like 60db.

I live in Berlin and I have a furnished apartment contract. One year left and my landlord didn’t say anything about it in the beginning. Our neighbor said that this construction will take somewhere around a year (just when my contract ends lol) and it’s not even a cheap apartment you know. In my contract there is nothing that suggest that I can end it until it expires.

If you can give me any sort of advice on what I can do in my situation please do 💀
