The next group of sixty-one Ukrainian soldiers have begun their training on the Patriot surface-to-air missile (SAM) system, in Germany. Information is from the Luftwaffe.

2. Glad my government continued to support Ukraine with all we can spare and must also rebuild our Bundeswehr so our soldiers can safely complete their mission.

3. This is huge. Building out a powerful anti air shield to protect Ukraine is a top priority. If they can make it extremely expensive for russia by losing so many missiles and drones maybe they stop and look for other ways to strike. I don’t know what that would take. Does russia see even one missile getting through as a win? Even if 50 others get shot down? I know the shaheds are really cheap and mass produced but even those start to add up. Also if Ukraine can destroy the shahed with near 100% accuracy would that deter russia from making them altogether? What’s the price that makes it worthwhile? Maybe it doesn’t matter since they don’t have any other targets to go after because they can’t locate them.

4. For winter terror attacks, this feels never ending and exhausting.

   NATO must give Ukraine super deep strike capabilities, to prevent Russian missiles and drones from even launching. Way more practical and efficient than catching the missiles and drones.

   Air defense is just stop gap, it cant work forever. Its also super expensive.
