Landlord tells ex-tenant he will return valuables if she knocks €16,000 off her Residential Tenancies Board award

  1. If the landlord has taken her property and not returning it, why has he not been arrested for theft?

  6. Hopefully she has her own solicitor involved at this stage.

  7. So he’s refusing to pay a court fine, illegally withholding someone else’s belongings (i.e. theft), and trying to intimidate a previous victim of his criminality. A bit of time in jail and a lifetime ban from landlording would do him well.

    I don’t know. That sounds very certain to me.

    Guards will literally do more work to avoid doing work.

  10. The man is clearly a nutjob. Burning out cars over late rent isn’t normal behaviour.

  11. This really looks like yet another example of the guards siding with landlords over non landlord’s rights and the law.

    Its gas to think the hand ringing a painting mocking them over this caused. The reality on which the painting was based? well that’s just a civil matter, you commie scum.
