Hello. I’m in the hiring process of a “global” role in a multinational corporation (Helsinki, hybrid). The process looks promising so far, so I thought to do a compensation research.

The role is in marketing and training management, and has the following keyword: “global”. My understanding that the team is located globally, and the selected candidate/s in Helsinki will need to work from the office occasionally.

I went through some of the posts in here, and I saw this link: https://tyopaikat.oikotie.fi/palkkavertailu

I tried to search for the role (in Finnish), and it showed me an average of 4800 per month (before taxes). The range, is from 4000-6000 per month (before taxes). However, I’m not sure if the term “global” is going to make a difference. What do you think?

I have 7 years of international experience. So, should I go with the average or above average?

Also, if this works, it will be my first job in Finland (I’m already living in Finland). So may I know what benefits should I expect? Is there a specific website that I can check to know about possible benefits (e.g. medical insurance, special memberships discounts etc.).

Thanks so much!

  1. There aren’t any universal benefits that can be found in every workplace, they vary a lot. Only way to find what type of benefits they are offering is simply to ask from them.
    Good luck with the process!
