Ain’t got no shame. Even the baby is disappointed
we NEEED a system of reporting this behaviour asap
in most other european countries, you simply call a government toll-free number, report a parking violation, and within 10 minutes they’re there
why? because it costs 150-200eur to get the car back from impound lot after its been picked up
this would stop 95% of such idiots from doing it
Casually key the car while passing by.
There are 6 cars parked on the pavement in this one photo!
Proof that Cy is still a Banana Republic. If police can’t prosecute parking in the pavement what hope is there for violent crime?
That’s indeed a really big problem, people park their cars on sidewalks deeming them useless. Police could very easily enforce the law of illegal parking. There is a catch though. if you are gonna enforce not parking on sidewalks, you must first ensure that the driver has an alternative spot to park the car. If you don’t, you just try to solve a problem by introducing another problem. So, after all, it’s parking space the problem and not the illegal sidewalk parking. If the government goes on to build multi-level parking spaces around the cities completing car capacity for their vicinity, it can then enforce illegal parking and citizens won’t be able to react because there is already a parking space waiting for them 2 streets that way. If government simply enforces the law without provisions, then protests will break out for this exact reason. They could of course just enforce it anyway and the citizens will face big problems with parking (along with the protests of course) where slowly the private sector will take advantage of the demand and build parkings with of course a high price tag.
