  1. I’d love to see this go to court and for it to be found accurate lol
It’s not defamation because we have found the blogger to in fact be a vile piece of human scum and can thus be referred to as such

    Won’t happen but it should

  2. She is not wrong though, He is scum. One of the biggest wallopers we have ever produced.

  3. “a worthless or contemptible person or group of people”

    What’s wrong with that?

  4. Wings over Scotland brings to mind a seagull about to let one go. Appropriate really.

  5. Fair dues. She shouldn’t have said it because of the rules that are in place but plenty of people will be happy to say it on her behalf.

  6. Scratch a free speech anti-woke guy and a massive cry baby shitebag bleeds

  7. I really do have to wonder at the logic of this. The Standards Commission used the precedent of Gregor Murray’s case (our very own grogipher).

But what distinguishes this case from Gregor Murray’s is that Murray aimed his comments at a random member of the public and a council officer who was merely doing his job. Wings however is a public figure and prolific social media commentator. He’s got one hell of a “bully pulpit” as the Americans say. I don’t see what the public interest is in sparing his delicate ears from hearing someone he regularly criticises, in personal and insulting terms, calling him “scum”.

Weaponising the Standards Commission to retaliate against people he hates, like some Victorian matron shrieking for the smelling salts, is a bad look for one of the most bilious people in Scottish public life.

  8. A real nasty piece of work who made a lot of money peddling fairy tales to the more gullible members of the Scottish public. Even they started to see through him eventually so he’s now jumped on the pro-women train and is trying to weasel his way in with them.
