The issue is not religion (at least not only that), people vote for erdogan for different reasons, like how they think all the opposition parties are terrorist supporters.Religious fanatics form %10-%15 of Turkey’s population and they are a solid voter base for Erdogan but AKP doesnt win elections because of them.
