Rest of the world should take the catholic approach. Just do it, and if found out, repent and promise not to do it again. Then do it again. Rinse and repeat.
These components were from 2014 with the weapon using them being built in 2020, pre war.
And even if it was newer, smuggling of Western components into Russia has been booming since the war started. Hardly any news.

The Swiss arms industry really can’t be relied upon. Can they be trusted to supply a state with ammo for Swiss weapons if that state is attacked? They don’t supply states at war after all. What is the point in investing in gear you cannot expect to be resupplied with in the case you actually need to use it?
