It still works like the day it was new. I use it everyday.
Occasionally I have to call the oyster helpline and they ask me for the number of the card which is on the back, but that wore off years ago so I have to look it up on my online account.
Should I replace this badboy that has been in my pocket for nearly 15 years? This has been to every corner of zone 6 and beyond. I feel like it’s part of me and a fresh one that hasn’t been on the same journey just would feel the same .

There’s prob a small NFC chip within the mass of that plastic card; As long as it reads/is intact, things should be fine.

Nah just put it in a plastic sleeve like those Pokemon card collectors
