Why is there a refugee camp in the middle of a city that has been self ruled for 20 years
“I was waiting in line to buy bread when suddenly and without any prior warning seven to eight missiles fell”
For more than 2 weeks you’ve been asked to evacuate to the south, and then “suddenly and withour prior warning”, is he for real?

It’s not a real refugee camp or at least in what you’re thinking. It’s a city.
Horrible
This is an unjustifiable strike on a densely populated civilian area. You don’t bomb hundreds of innocent people just because there might be an enemy combatant there.
Many IDF soldiers are “stationed” inside Tel Aviv. Does that make Hamas launching rockets there justifiable?
CNN and Reuters are reporting this. Cute that the fake ass war propaganda posters are pretending it didn’t happen.
Nothing to see here, just Israel out there fighting the brave fight against all those evil women and children.

Bet by tomorrow we’re gonna get a headline along the lines of “Cobra Command style base hidden beneath refugee camp.”
Reading people’s reactions to the events of this war is downright nauseating. This is not summer camp. This is not a joke. It’s a fucking war, and you know what happens in war? People fucking die, and very often the ones that die are not the ones that deserved it. I’m sorry, but that’s how it’s always been, and that’s how it’ll always be.
This has turned into a war for sympathy first, military objectives second, and civilians/people’s lives last. Do you really think Hamas gives a rat’s ass about the people getting killed as collateral? Of course not! They love it when this kind of thing happens and will milk every incident for all its worth. They will intentionally place themselves in amongst the most vulnerable to bring about more civilian death because information is their only viable weapon against the IDF. They have no other way to erode the IDF’s ability to conduct military actions effectively in any legitimate fashion.
It’s unfortunate these people were killed. It really fucking is. But there are about a thousand ways these specific individuals could have avoided ending up in a smoldering crater and having their lives traded for cheap sympathy points, only to be forgotten forever by the world by this time tomorrow.
The IDF has provided ample warning to the residents in the north of Gaza to get the fuck out of there or end up like these people. More warning than the rules of war require, and at the cost of their own military objectives in doing so.
So keep slurping up the blood-soaked narrative Hamas is serving if you wish. Alternatively, consider the obvious ulterior motives at play here and quit acting like this is a humanitarian retreat and not an active fucking war zone. Get used to these kinds of stories, because they won’t stop until Israel achieves its strategic objectives.
That place hasnt been a refugee camp in decades. This is a self governed city.
Israel, US, Europe – we have to be better than this. We can’t just tolerate this kind of collateral damage and civilian suffering and at the same time defend human rights. And even if Hamas does the horrific things we have been seeing, we cannot measure our standards (the standards of democracies with liberal values and respect for human rights) with the standards of a terrorist organization (eg yes 50 civilians died, but there were Hamas fighters among them).
So really it’s a town, but technically considered a refugee camp because that’s what it started as in the 1940s?
Damn, I don’t know how I feel on this one. First, I want to see what comes out in three facts: Was this commander there? Israel says yes, Hamas says no.
Hamas is going to use human shields to protect themselves, and while I can’t blame Israel for blowing up rockets stored in a hospital, killing one person with seven missiles in a refugee camp (likely tents and other non-protection for civilians)….
Taking the article at face value, I think Israel was in the wrong. Hoping we find out (like the hospital blast) that Hamas was spewing BS.
People do al kind of mental gymnastics to justify these acts.
“Its not technically a refugee camp” 🫥

How is this not genocide?
fuck the israeli government
Come on reddit, how come this isn’t as highly upvoted as the discussions on the rocket in the hospital? Isreal have confimed they targeted a refugee camp and used innocent lives as acceptable collateral and most of you have nothing to say. One does wonder..

Damage was caused by collapsed tunnel not IDF munitions. Jabalya is known terrorist stronghold. [https://twitter.com/gaza_report/status/1719363073847308710](https://twitter.com/gaza_report/status/1719363073847308710)
