>FC Bayern has signed defensive midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović (19) to a professional contract until June 30, 2027. The Munich native has played for the German record champions since the age of seven and celebrated his Bundesliga debut last Saturday in the 8-0 win over Darmstadt 98 at the Allianz Arena.
>Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO: “We are very happy for Aleksandar Pavlović, who has celebrated two premieres in just a few days: first his Bundesliga debut, now his first professional contract. As a true Munich native, he has made it into the FC Bayern first team – our fans dream of such stories becoming reality, and we at the club feel the same way. His path should also be a role model for our talented players: You can make it to the top via the campus!”
>Christoph Freund, Sports Director of FC Bayern: “Aleks Pavlović is a strong and technically skilled midfielder with a very good overview. He is also immensely willing to learn, ambitious and very determined when it comes to his goals. Aleks has been wearing the Bayern jersey since he was seven years old and has been through all the youth teams up to our professional team. This makes him a great role model for our boys on campus. We are very happy that he has signed his first professional contract with us.”
>Aleksandar Pavlović: “I grew up at FC Bayern and am very happy to have signed my first professional contract here now. I’ve dreamed of this since I was little. Thank you to everyone who supported me at the FC Bayern Campus. I want to learn in every training session and will continue to work hard on myself.”
>The Munich native started playing soccer in the youth of SC Fürstenfeldbruck before moving to FC Bayern in 2011. At the German record champions, Pavlović went through all the junior teams, has so far made eight appearances for FC Bayern II in the Regionalliga (1 goal) and now trains with the first team. Last season, he was part of the squad that won the German championship.
