Hey guys, we are three exchange students at Aalto University studying Electrical Engineering. For a project we have to do user group research. We previously did a user group research ([post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Finland/comments/17faa35/do_you_leave_your_baby_outside/)) and based on your feedback we have decided to change our product and do it again. 🙂
We know that parents and caregivers can have a tough time dressing their kids appropriately when it’s cold outside. Sometimes, they don’t realize their children are feeling too cold until it’s too late (when they get a cold or begin crying). Our product will be a display on the childs jacket, that will display if the child is cold, hot or a good temperature. This display will have nice pictograms / animations, which will be useful and also interesting for children.
We have a couple of questions for you to answer. We would really appreciate it!
1. Do you have children that play outside in the cold?
2. When they play outside, are you certain that they wear clothes fit for the weather?
3. Does your child tell you when they are too cold (or hot)?
4. Would you be interested in a product, that helps you understand the temperature of your child?
We also have a google form, if that is easier for you:

Thank you very much!

You might want to think something else than measuring the temperature of kids. This, like your earlier idea, sounds like misuse of resources and just an extra cost to parents/caregivers
It’s not rocket science to know if kids are hot or cold and clothing them isn’t nuclear science either. Why everything simple now needs to have a app or product meanwhile in the past we have survived without anything fancy?
