No reason not to if they can get enough sub capacity through the colleges
I can see them maybe waiting till the 11th, anyone testing positive up to yesterday will be clear for work by then
The right call.
Who woke this cretin up ?
Open up the whole country .
Covid19 will become seasonal,as the Spanish flu did .
Yeah… I suspect it’s not his call
I work in a creche, currently out on maternity leave. We usually open two days between Christmas and News yr with a skeleton staff since we are quieter. This year, they had to stay close, 10 staff were meant to come in, only 2 could actually show up. The rest had symptoms, waiting tests, waiting results, close contacts.
So I could definitely see some schools and creches simply not having the staff to open and maintain the correct staff to child ratio.

I don’t think they can . Since I started back in August I’ve had a free class every day and even days when I was sick I would’ve definitely had free classes . Judging from what some of my teachers have posted on Teams and Twitter talking about PCR tests and being a close contact , I will definitely be having more free classes than usual
While there’s no tracing and few boosted students.

This is just beyond belief.
