  1. This is one of the times that I wish the trial was televised. It would be so interesting to watch Don Jr spew lies and then have Eric trip over them later. I have to bet they will play brother against brother here. Who knows, a little light perjury charges to go with the afternoon break?

  2. Oh, they just “will” testify…?

    They are ordered to testify.

  3. They were senior executives of a corporation that’s on trial for massive, systemic fraud. OF COURSE they’re being called to testify.

I’m so sick of the media talking about this like it was surprising or unexpected in any way.

  4. >Donald Trump Jr. hasn’t been to court, but since testimony began Oct. 2, he’s repeatedly denounced the case and Engoron as a “kangaroo court.” State law doesn’t allow for juries in this type of lawsuit, so Engoron will decide the case.

    >“**It doesn’t matter what the rules are, it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says, it doesn’t matter what general practices and business would be**,” Donald Trump Jr. said Monday on Newsmax. “It doesn’t matter. They have a narrative, they have an end goal, and they’ll do whatever it takes to get there.”

Seems like the Trumps never miss opportunities to tell on themselves…

  5. I think there will be a lot of early onset Alzheimer’s in the Trump family, when every response on the stand is “I do not recall”

  6. Sniff, Don Jr.’s sniff, testimony is going to be sniff great. Sniff.

  7. Would you please state your name for the court?

Eric: Hi, I’m Eric, I have five face holes.

  8. Does anyone know if this will be televised or what time they take the stand? I just hope they don’t plead the 5th.

  9. They’re just going to plea the 5th and say “I don’t recall”. What do we expect?

  10. You think Jr will be sober, or will he have bloodshot eyes?

  11. They won’t remember a thing. This will be said a thousand times: **I DON’T RECALL.**

  12. This should be teleivised. Tweedle Dumb and Dumber on the stand how many times will they take fifth?
The problem with taking the fifth in a civil trial is that it doesn’t give you the same protection as in a criminal case.

“Once a witness in a civil suit has invoked his or her Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination, the trier of fact is entitled to draw an adverse inference from the witness’s refusal to testify.” Chaffee v. Keller Rohrback LLP, 200 Wash.App. 66, 83-84 (2017) (citing King v. Olympic Pipeline Co., 104 Wash.App. 338, 355-56 (2000) and Ikeda v. Curtis, 43 Wash.2d 449, 261 P.2d 684 (1953)).”

So it can be inferred as an admission of guilt. Let them go ahead and plead away!

  13. It’s like real-time Fall of the House of Usher Netflix series

  14. When I think of Don Jr testifying, all I can picture is Gob Bluth on the stand 🤔

“Y…yeah. The the guy in the $10,000 suit committed fraud. Come on!”

  15. They’ll plead the 5th on every single thing that isn’t their names. I hate to say it, but this won’t be the bombshell we’ve been hoping for.
