Hi I need help as these few questions have been driving me mad (Also if anyone has any resources for hotlines on such questions I would love any resources that actually answer phone lines and are in english you can possibly share).
For backround I am a USA citizen and have worked 1 year and 11 months in germany but got laid off recently and have been unemployed for 3 months now (with arbietlosgeld 1 until may 2024). I have a job offer lined up this month but before I move forward would like the anwers to these questions as Im still very confused. Any help would be appreciated dearly:
First question: If I find a new job can I work immediently without going to immigration first?
Second question: If I do have to go to immigration to report new work, Can anyone tell me what permit/visa I can get so i dont have to keep notifying immigration offices of job changes in the future?
third question: if i get laid off in the next month by a new job can i claim my benefits again?
fourth question: It is said you have to pay into social insurance for 12 months out of 30 months to get arbeitlos geld. Does this mean 12 months out of 30 for your entire work history in germany or just at the one past job youve had?

mine personally says aufenthaltserlaubnis and expires septmember 2024 but in the remarks says 18B. 1 aufenthg pass (ersatz) july 2026
