I wonder what route he took to get there. Can’t get to Kazakhstan without flying over Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, or China. They’re really landlocked.
Kazakhstan is the largest producer of uranium and France is 100% nuclear powered. Russia’s war is costing them a lot of friends.

My favourite thing about Kazakhstan is knowing that they were initially insulted by the Borat movie until they learned that it was actually making fun of America and their lack of geographical knowledge, at which point their tourism board embraced the catchphrases to promote their country.
