Dug mine out for my first cold of the year and it’s still going strong. Reckon it’s got a few more years in it yet.

  1. My “Vicks” is actually Boots’ own brand, and use by 05/2018 (shrugs)

I just threw out some Vaseline that had a use by date in 2001!

  2. I’d give it another decade until it’s pure Kryptonite.

  3. I had a bad cold in 1983. Still got a layer of Vicks on my chest from then. Me mam used to lay that stuff on thick

  4. I really don’t want to go and look because I know it’s going to be older than that 🙂

  5. I’m sure it’s potency increases with age. You’ve got a good steady vintage brew going on there.

  6. This has to be one of the most random questions on here 🤣

  7. Does anyone else do this with sudocrem as well or us that decidedly more minging? I always want to be hygienic and throw it out at the appropriate time then the months roll on and it starts to sludge up a bit…

  8. Not Vicks but when I was growing up I always knew Bonjela to be brown, to me that was normal, until it finally ran out and I opened the new one and it was clear, checked date and wish I hadn’t

  9. I have a tub of sudocreme from when I was born in 1989, was just chilling in the family cupboard waiting for it to be used.

  10. I’ve got a Vicks inhaler from 2012. That shit never goes off.

  11. My vial of Mr Vick’s Efficacious Camphor Tincture For Consumption Ague and Dropsy?

  12. I’ve been looking around for my glass 1960s era vicks jar…

  13. Mine has probably stopped being medicine ages ago, and can now be called geology.

  14. Mine is so new! 2020. Amazing. I don’t actually remember when I bought it, but I’ve not had a cold for about 5 or 6 years.

  15. I have a glass jar from the early 80s. I keep it next to my tiny glass vial of campho-phenique.

  16. Mine is so old it joined up with 6 men and formed the Sidemen.
