An internet [famous](https://instagram.com/northern.friend?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==) Russian photographer with half a million subs on IG just announced he enlisted on the Russian army to fight at the front. He’s a published photographer specialized in Soviet architecture and culture, with maybe one of the best photo accounts on the subject but since the beginning of the war has been spitting out the Kremlin’s narrative word by word. To the point of photographing the destruction of Bakhmut and still linking it to the sacrifice and liberation against the “nazis”. His political posts would get comments either from people supporting him, or people calling him out and declaring they’d unsubscribe, to people even telling him to grab a gun and go die in Ukraine if he believed the cause that much.
I guess he took their advice.

    But here he is, cos-playing in front of AFU patches as if he personally collected these at the frontlines. By the looks of the carpet, he never left his mom’s living room.

    Besides this isn’t even a worthy propaganda foto as him displaying a foreign-made assault rifle doesn’t really instill confidence in Ismash being able to provide precision rifles for Putler’s minions.
