Edenbridge Guy: Effigy of Sadiq Khan to go up in flames by Tartan_Samurai Tags:United Kingdom 16 comments How dare the Mayor of London implement government policy to improve air quality in London ? It’s socialism run riot /s Ironic, given all the particulates going into the air around Nov 5th. Why does it look like an inbred relative of Daft Punk rather than Khan then? Liz Truss got the honour last year for fucking the economy up and costing us all thousands of Pounds. Khan gets the position for trying to make sure that slightly fewer asthmatics drop dead. I’m not very familiar with the area – do Khan’s policies have any impact on it? ULEZ doesn’t go out that far does it? TIA For fucks sake this is my hometown, we aren’t affected by ULEZ one iota. It stops at Biggin Hill Guess I’m not travelling to support the bonfire evening as normal, fucking shame was looking forward to it Well Edenbridge have a done a great job of baiting out everyone with no sense of humour as per this thread. Not to critique this beautiful effigy but I don’t think that’s Sadiq Khan. His efforts have seen London gridlocked do it sort of defeats the purpose doesn’t it [https://www.edenbridgebonfire.co.uk/our-celebrity-guys/](https://www.edenbridgebonfire.co.uk/our-celebrity-guys/) They don’t seem to have a target – it’s anyone who has been news worthy that year Edenbridge is nowhere fucking near the ULEZ zone. WTAF Hopefully they’ll get fined for the pollution they generate. They’re welcome to move somewhere where they can vote for Zoe Garbett next year instead. Until then, the mayor of London is none of their business. HS2 really *has* brought everywhere closer to London, hasn’t it? Over to Patrick in Galway, whose long running issues with Hillingdon Council over his bins (all 7 of them) have come to a head… Hope they all ensure that they breathe in those lovely fumes they generate. Really? Sadiq Khan? Seems an odd person to burn an effigy of. Well, their decision who they burn. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
