The video looks good, too bad the voice doesn’t come up (it may be just in my browser), so it’s difficult for me to understand the content.
This is good, but just one of many *”sets”* Inzy employs.
There’s one variant where Nico hugs the touchline, gets the pass from Darm/ Pavard, and moves the ball forward with a slight inward touch for an on rushing DD. The other variant has DD on the touchline, and Nico makes the run forward.
Similarly, another move involves an elaborate built-up on the left side, only to find Basto launch a long diagonal ball for on-rushing DD/ Nico. A variant to that is the goal we saw against Roma; a long precise ball to Dimarco (in this particular case, *by Asla*), who puts in an early and accurate cross.
Last season, Inzy also had a system where the CCM (Brozo/ Hakan) used to drop super deep, almost like a CB, and the WCB would go wide, and the wing backs would really push up, giving for targets for the long balls, two for the midfield pass, and four CB’s for the short pass to avoid the press. Now that Onana & Brozo are gone, this particular set has not come out a whole lot till now.
