Well, even though the ICJ was analysing the specific issue of a wall, it did consider Israel was illegally occupying and annexing Palestinian Territories and in breach of several international laws. Therefore I see the logic in asking if an invader can claim “a right to defende itself” when it’s attacked.
But then this should also apply to what’s happening in Ukraine and goes against many of the instances Russia has threatened to escalate the situation.
I wish the UN had the power to expel blatant pieces of shit like this guy (or, presumably, anyone Putin would send to replace him).
