Just curious because I’m from California, and the only football game I’ve been to was in Barcelona because it coincided with my trip there (and it wasn’t an important game, so there wasn’t much happening at the end of the match). How do the players acknowledge the fans when they lose? For the most part, the cameras only show the winning team, so I’m curious what the courtesy to fans looks like for players on the team that lost.
EDIT ADD: It might sound dumb, but I really would like to know since the feeling must be awful after a loss. Do they go over to the stands and wave, clap, or say thank you (can the fans hear this over the noise)?
