   A text post from the battalion reads:

   > Yesterday, at a training ground in the Kyiv region, a demonstration training and communication with representatives of the press of fighters of the “Siberian Battalion” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took place. We, the battalion command, ask you to listen carefully to what the soldiers themselves said in an interview with representatives of Ukrainian and world mass media.

   > The main right that the battalion’s fighters are ready to defend with arms in their hands is the right of the peoples occupied by Russia to self-determination, enshrined in the UN Charter and the Declaration of Principles of Law of October 24, 1970 No. 2625. From the Ukrainian people, defending with arms in their hands their right to sovereignty and independence , the battalion’s fighters strive to take up the blazing torch of struggle for a just cause and bring Freedom and independence to their fellow citizens.

   > Unlike illegal armed mercenary formations of the enemy, the battalion is a regular military unit of the International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the Laws of Ukraine and carries out its activities in accordance with the Charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

   > All soldiers of the battalion are or will become contract military personnel legally located on the territory of Ukraine; they are endowed with all the rights of a Ukrainian military serviceman, including regular leaves and leave during free time from service in the places of permanent deployment of the battalion. They all have legal Ukrainian identity cards and are not limited to anything other than military duties during martial law. Material and technical support, provision of personal protective equipment and medical and legal services to fighters occurs in accordance with the laws of Ukraine and with the direct assistance of Ukrainian and international volunteer organizations.

   > Despite their different political and religious beliefs, the battalion’s fighters are ready to fight together for a common victory over the Russian Empire. There is no place for racial, national hatred and persecution based on religious and other beliefs in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its parts. The composition of the battalion, like all the Armed Forces, is multinational and international.

   > The battalion command invites you to join your brothers and sisters in their righteous Struggle for Freedom and Equality of Peoples against Tyranny and Lawlessness of the so-called “Russian Federation”.
