  1. Both Eric and Jr got caught lying during their testimony lol

  2. If Trump was convinced he had won the election and that it had indeed been stolen by Biden, why did he became trustee of the family trust again on January 15, 2021?

  3. Would you be kind enough to provide any detail, so we can avoid giving newswank the click?

  4. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I’m just a caveman. I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the honking horns of your traffic make me want to get out of my BMW.. and runoff into the hills, or wherever.. Sometimes when I get a message on my fax machine, I wonder: “Did little demons get inside and type it?” I don’t know! My primitive mind can’t grasp these concepts. But there is one thing I do know – when a man like my client signs off on stuff, it bears no relation to his awareness of anything. Since when do signatures have anything to do with the law?

  5. Eric is twisting and turning right now with his turn on the stand, and it’s pretty great.

They kept hiring the same appraiser that gave Trump Org seemingly accurate property values, but kept hiding those results from clients and from their official reports. This includes rehiring the same appraiser over a year after trying to hide the results at least once, and Eric signed off on all of it.

By doing so, they could inflate Trump’s networth at will, or misrepresent it for tax purposes. I believe the former is the main goal in the case of Eric’s work here, but either way it shows the intent has always been fraud of the absolute highest level, to all parties involved outside the org.

Michael Cohen’s prior testimony also shows Donald would have direct intent and give orders about this kind of manipulation. A good quote on that was Trump saying he “really felt more like he was worth 6 billion”, rather than 4.5, as an indirect way to say to cook the books.

There’s an excellent thread on some of the details and names of companies involved here.

    Here’s Part 2: [https://twitter.com/lawofruby/status/1720164507832418541](https://twitter.com/lawofruby/status/1720164507832418541)

**And the day ended with the Defense team attempting to loudly discredit a female court clerk, and trying to call the judge biased and demanding to see his notes (which the judge did not take kindly to), then the defense team saying they’re totally not misogynists.**

    What a shitshow.

  6. When the documents have your name on the top you had better know what you are signing. He smugly admitted he is an idiot that doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.

  7. In the most charitable analysis of Don Jr’s testimony it is a confession to total incompetence.

Unfortunately, post Enron, the incompetence of Executives isn’t a legal excuse for fraud.

  8. There’s already so much been said about his lack of intelligence, wit and morals, so I’ll just aim for the head.

He looks like a thumb. With a glued-on fake beard.

  9. The next excuse from Don Jr will be that Kimberly made him do it.

  10. “As the senior executive, he was the person who signed the financial statements,” McAuliffe told Newsweek. “A reason exists why the person in charge signs––that is to have an individual take responsibility for them, not the folks who merely helped in the preparation. As such, the abdication of responsibility likely isn’t enough to wash one’s hands regarding the accuracy of the representations in the financials.”

  11. Half of America supports him. That’s the real crime.

  12. I’m surprised he didn’t claim the 10 because he may think it’s twice as good. But math.

  13. All the stuff I’ve read so far about Jr.’s testimony makes me wonder if their attorneys are being open and honest with them about how it keeps going from bad to worse, or are they stroking their egos telling them how much their testimony is totally killing it in the courtroom and the judge is absolutely cornered.

  14. Spicy little nugget buried at bottom of the article

“The most interesting part of this testimony had nothing to do with the case, but his admission that Donald Trump became trustee of the family trust again on January 15, 2021,” Rahmani said. “That’s evidence that Donald Trump knew he lost the election, at least as of that date.”

  15. He’s too fucking stupid to not incriminate himself and his dad.

  16.

    >“The accountants worked on it,” he added. ”That’s what we paid them for.”

OK, so you paid them to get the result you wanted. Good to hear.

  17. Daddy Trump is probably blackmailing his own children.

  18. He walked out feeling pretty smug, and definitely in need of a bump. He better tap into a main line before his testimony renews tomorrow. He needs to level out if he’s going to be any kind of effective on the stand.

    Snort it for Daddy, Junior!

  19. I was always told ignorance of the law isn’t an excuse to break it.

  20. The judge has already ruled that daddy wasn’t credible and then fined him $10k for violating the gag order. I’d bet when the judge makes the final ruling in this case, he’ll say the kids aren’t credible either.

  21. Trump Sr is using the “If you say it loud enough and enough times it’s true” defense. Trump Jr is using the “I’m ignorant.” defense. Eric is using the “I’m stupid.” defense. I wonder what Ivana is going to use.

  22. the only slight chance they have is to throw daddy under the bus and say they were following orders

  23. I’m sorry but these two men are studies in psychopathy.

They are not well. Eric has a better chance than Jr., who, based on hundreds of videos, is a drug addict… Eric seems slow and stupid— maybe that’s a blessing. Jr. broke away from his disgusting narcissistic father once upon a time. and was homeless; he couldn’t cut it. He came back to the clutches of Dump and now lives in a weirdo world of delusion, lies and, it appears, lots of either COCAINE or (my choice) opiates.

I don’t care what these two have to say. They’re evil pieces of messed up garbage, just like their abusive, MONSTER of a father

That will sure help Jack Smith.
