  1. Pressure Egypt to accept refugees. Have israel promise they can return once the war is over.

  2. Release all hostages. Unconditional surrender of Hamas. All the innocent civilians in Gaza will be safe. Pretty straightforward.

  3. Curious on what more Israel can do without outright compromising their operations against Hamas.

  4. Besides the obvious, which is shared borders and easy proximity. Why is there so much reluctance from all the bordering countries to accept any of their citizens? Why don’t they want them? Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia…….some of these countries have leaders who shit in gold toilets and yet it falls upon Western Europe and North America to step up.

  5. Maybe don’t bomb apartment buildings and refugee camps. As a start.

  6. Stopping the carpet bombing of high rise buildings would be a start

  7. I don’t think suggesting anything specific is going to help, but Blinken seems very competent so I’m trusting he’ll do as much as anyone could in this situation. The US in general has been pretty successful with getting things done, such as the water coming back on, those trucks going in (up to 100 just today), plus the foreigners and wounded Palestinians being allowed out after negotiating that with Hamas, Egypt, and Israel, so Blinken going over in person is probably a good sign for more things like that in the near future.

  8. I don’t envy Blinken’s job rn, though he seems one of the more capable members of this administration. That said, it’s hard not to be cynical about whether these “concrete steps” have any impact on the number of “children they have to pull from the rubble”.

  9. I know. Stop selling them weapons and start putting limits to how they can use US weapons already in their possession. So called “war on terror” is nothing more than a stupid endless war that solves absolutely nothing. Eliminate 1 terrorist organization and 10 more will pop up. It’s baffling how the US and Israel keep playing this stupid game every decade.

You get rid of terrorist organizations by solving the Israeli-Palestine problem. But to everyone, solving the conflict is not the real objective. The motive is another. Politicians and their advisers can’t be this stupid. Watch another Israeli war in 10 years. The people of Israel should be revolting for the continued insecurity that the current PM is setting future Israelis up for.
