Sadly it has. Russia has pinned Ukraine in the south. While there are river raids, they aren’t a major invasion.
The lines are pretty frozen, which is good for Russia. Gives them time to rebuild.
As a Westerner, I want to say to all Ukrainians, I’m sorry. I’m sorry my government dragged there feet delivering aid, delivering military equipment, took too long to send western tanks, didn’t send enough ammo, drones, and air defence systems. I will continue to donate to united24 and keep emailing my Prime Minister about helping Ukraine more.

I have been disappointed with the democrats inability to give Ukraine what it needs from the beginning. Biden even teased us with atacms then didn’t deliver in a reasonable time frame. I honestly am starting to question whether there’s a difference between voting for democrats or republicans. Both just want to freeze the line. Biden is just doing it slower. American politicians can’t be trusted.
I mean sure, ideally the offensive was supposed to not even be necessary because Russia would not have been so colossally stupid as to invade in the first place.
And yet. We don’t live in the world we are supposed to be living in.
Fortunately, Ukraine has in Zaluzhnyi a military leader who can articulate his mistakes, adapt to conditions, and list what he needs to get Ukraine’s work done.
I’ve said many times before this interview, this war has few guarantees but one of them is that Ukraine has made, is making, and will make many mistakes. That is the nature of all warfare.
Ukraine’s true friends will not allow this fact to dampen their commitment to their sworn ally in its time of need. Ukraine is not doomed. The war is not over. Just look through history at all the mistakes made along the way by armies that were ultimately victorious.
That man is goddamn solid.

We either help them win this war or it only gets worse for everyone in the west. This is the time to punch the bully in his cocksucker.
