  1. One of those little darts is much too close for comfort! Credit to this guy for toughing it out like that and filming it for posterity.

  2. If that’s a full leg penetration than it probably is fairly serious internally tbh. He’s lucky his artery wasn’t hit.

  3. “That’s how that b*tch got me. Went all the way through. Balls are fine though”
I’d say it’s pretty serious given that it went all the way through his leg.

  4. We don’t know how serious it is, but it’s a good thing that artery was missed. If the bone is ok, it seems that only the muscle is affected, and the recovery time should be pretty fast. Whatsoever, that flechette should be removed asap. (Hope that it can be removed without surgery).

  5. Dude, those things penetrate very deep when hitting soft flesh.

  6. Those are nasty and deadly.

I recall that back in the early days of World War One, the

airplane pilots used to throw them into enemy trenches. But after awhile

they stopped using them because someone invented a better way to put a

machine-gun and bombs into an airplane.

I would not be surprised if this Ukraine war turns into a WW1 trench

warfare scenario with guys using baseball-bats with spikes. back-pack flame-throwers,

and then using mustard gas warfare.

  7. Those can kill you in seconds if it hits the wrong spot.

Lucky guy that didn’t hit his thigh artery.

  8. Get the hell behind the lines and have a trained surgeon remove the flechette. Take some antibiotics, rest behind the lines for 2 weeks including walking therapy, and you’ll be good to come back to the front. 3 weeks I’d say.

  9. I doubt you’d feel the same way if one went through one of your organs
