    The world should listen to their actions now – because the next propaganda operation using TikTok will be much worse for the west.

    Social media platforms are made up of people. People have their own opinions. Generally they don’t tend to support flagrant war crimes and ethnic cleansing no matter how upu try to justify them

  5. Well when you have “Kill the Jews, free Palestine” videos going viral it’s not hard to imagine why people may be critical of the platform and think it has an anti-Israel bias.

    I’m seeing a lot of “it’s complicated and we need to have nuance” but that’s not the same thing at all

    there are 1.9 billion muslims.

    if 1 out of 100 muslims supports palestine, it woukd still be enough to dominate social medias with pro palestine opinions. i assure you that its closer to 1 out of 10.

    israel can never win in public opinion, no matter what, not on todays standards atleast

  9. i support israel and all, but i don’t think the government should be in the business of banning access to websites based on political viewpoints? especially such a large part of the internet. i mean, you might as well do xitter, facebook, this place, and especially 4chan then.

    edit: so what’s the rationale for banning tiktok but not 4chan? and how would you bypass the inherent 1st amendment issues?

  11. The world is dumb enough to use a Chinese app and they will be as dumb when they criticize israel

  12. I’ve never been on TikTok but if senators Blackburn, Hawley and Rubio are against something my knee automatically jerks for it.

  13. One of the big reasons is that India is not on tiktok

    It’s banned there and they’re notorious for anti Islam stuff add to that the fact Israel and India are close military partners too

    They have no chance to flood tiktok and then brigade it

    India was one of the points of focus for pro Russian stuff with regards to the Ukrainian war too

  16. Statistically aren’t there far more people who support Palestine than Israel given the amount of Muslims in the World compared to Jewish?

    Surely it’d be weirder if there wasn’t a bias to the larger side?
