Diprose Lodge, Garratt Lane, London, SW17. Was doing some maintenance yesterday at Alms Houses in Tooting. Chatting with the resident and she told me Wandsworth Council had sold off five of the houses to private owners. WTF. Aren’t they meant to be charity houses forever? 😳

1. There are no rules that they have to be <xxxx> forever.

   It is all down to money, if the council can afford it, they would, but if they can’t, then they have to do something about it.

   Council house etc get sold off all the time, doesn’t stop these to be sold off as well.
