I came across this new type of skimming maqethod. Posting it here so that people become aware.

Beware and be aware of:

1. The SMS has a link which is not from MyGuichet.lu.
2. The website address.

  1. Friend of mine was close to clicking the link! I was like, but don’t you see the link is not myguichet lu?!?! People should really know this, it will make it easier for them to avoid scams such as these!

  2. Either SMS or e-mail, ALWAYS check te sender’s info (e-mail adress, website adress). You can debunk most of them since they try to look like the original:

    Original: [https://guichet.public.lu](https://guichet.public.lu)
    Scam (can be smth like) : [https://scamingpeople.guichet.public.lu](https://guichet.public.lu)

  3. There is quite a significant increase of phishing attempts lately targeting Lux residents. And not only by SMS/text but also via email with similar pattern as the one from this post. SMS/text are now also sent in luxemburgish and mainly targeting 621 (Post) line. Be careful and make your relatives aware/educate them!
