Everytime I look out the house window I see the Robin admiring himself in the wing mirrors and crapping all down the cars side. Anyone else seeing this? Love the wee fella.
Had the same issue and resorted to just putting a small plastic bag over the wing mirrors.
There’s a robin at the house that’s the same. We call him “the landlord” because he keeps shitting on our stuff.
Robins are very territorial so it could be sizing up what it thinks is an intruder.
They are fantastic birds, I have one that visist each day and looks in the window when he is hungry. I built him a bird house and the frigger won’t use it. Prefers to eat off the ground. They are very intelligent in their own ways
He thinks it’s the batmobile
WEAK for himself
I have a video of a tiny bird that was obsessed with my car, would fly from the mirror to the windscreen over and over
Robin cars normally starts by lookin in the window, know the signs
Robin Reliant
He’s trying to intimidate those other robins that are always sitting there behind the car windows and the mirrors, acting all tough and trying to muscle in on his territory and steal his woman.
Don’t be fooled. Robins are ruthless bullies. He doesn’t want anyone else on his turf.
Robin in our back doing the same on the patio doors.
Perches on the door handle and goes ape shit at his own reflection and than actually shits all over the door and the step.
Happy to have him.
I run to the fuinneoig every morning to see the lil bugger and to check how much crap he left on my car. He loves the left mirror more. Eats from my hand occasionally too. Wee legend.
