Has this not happened with every single manager since Ferguson.

I think they should stick with Ten Hag, and in some weird ways I think bad form is desirable. Allows for a more fundamental reset than the last 6/7 years of papering over the cracks with a signing here or a good win there.

  1. The players do lack spirit though, just look at them on the pitch.

  2. Does Anthony Martial Ballon d’Or clause still stand?

  3. Ok kinda agree, BUT

Ten had isn’t resetting at all. He still plays the same players who whinge on the pitch and dont perform. They were poor in the derby, even worse against Newcastle in the cup and the only three people who seemed to give a damn were Onana, Hojlund, and Hannibal.

So he’s got plenty of chance to reset but he’s not doing it. If Pep/Klopp were in charge you can bet your ass half of that first XI wouldn’t have started in the cup, because they wouldn’t tolerate the shit attitude.

Cancelo got a bit gnarky last season due to game time and got loaned out to Bayern when he was arguably the best full back in the world at the time! And he’s now gone to Barca on loan! You wouldn’t catch EtH doing that.

  4. He’s saying this to protect his players, but I think the problems are only brewing at the minute. It’s been a terrible start, but it’s still early days. The biggest problem, apart from the results he’s got, is the fans turning on him. I could be observing this wrongly, but his player management seems to be a big problem and I think that has created a dislike for Ten Hag and the leaks claiming the players find him stoic don’t help in that regard.

Him going to Anfield in December and getting sacked just like Mourinho would be a truly horrific cycle Man Utd would’ve completed.

  5. His mouth says one thing, everything else says the opposite.

Better to not really say anything than make yourself look a deluded fool.

  6. The ultimate spoofer. He’ll be looking for a new job in less than a week.
