1. Anyone who supported Israel’s actions towards civilians already has blood on their hands.

2. This isn’t a popularity contest, there are 200+ hostages inside Gaza and a terrorist organization that needs to go, support or not it’s going to happen.

3. I don’t understand what more Israel could possibly do to prevent Palestinian deaths while still accomplishing their military goals of eliminating Hamas.
   They send leaflets, they’re allowing truckloads of aid in, they’re trying to get foreign nationals out, like really what else? But we’re not surprised that the international community cares more about PR. Israel will fight to the end, no matter what public opinion is.

4. Whether or not this is actually a fair argument to make, I want to applaud Biden for how his administration has dealt with Netanyahu. I don’t know how much of Israel’s restraint has been a result of internal politics versus American pressure, but I imagine a good deal of it can be attributed to the lessons Biden has learned from Obama’s failure around Israel.

5. So Israel delayed the ground offensive due to external pressure to allow more time for civilians to evacuate the north, and now they are being told to hurry up by the same people because it’s taking too long? WTF Biden!

6. Israel has reached the Rubicon. They as a nation, must decide if they are more concerned about international support than the safety and well bing of it’s citizens. International image can always be restored, it may take a few generation, but failure to prosecute this war to the end almost guarantees that Israel will fall within the next 50 years

7. Turns out bombing 100 civilians to take out 1 terrorist isn’t a good idea.

8. The window at which turning women and children into spaghetti sauce to fight Hamas is acceptable was never going to last forever, Biden knows this and is playing his cards in the right order. The Jewish and Armageddon-Evangelical voting bloc got their pound of flesh, he needs to start re-aligning the rest of his base before they get too upset.

9. It is unfortunate that Palestinians in Gaza exported a violent domestic issue on others but external parties are not expected to maximize the wellbeing of others at a cost to their own.

   It’s the same with Russia and its invasion of Ukraine.

   All Russian civilian casualties is the fault of Putin and Russia. Similarly, Hamas is to blame for all civilian casualties.

   The only solution for Palestinians is a non-violent one.

10. Ok Israel only 20 more air strikes then you have to stop!

11. Abandoning support of Israel would be a terrible choice. But ofc, no one learns these lessons until it’s too late.

12. Imagine if the world had told the US this 3 weeks after 9/11.

13. A lot of political support in Ireland for expelling the Israeli Ambassador.
