My name is Dima, I am a journalist from Kaliningrad.
Until 1945, the city belonged to Germany and was called Königsberg. For the New Year, I would like to write a story about how the holiday was celebrated in 1923.

I mean, good luck, but nobody who remembers it is still alive (much less on reddit), the only stories I’ve ever heard from relatives were about the escape and I imagine very few people bothered to bring their photo albums.
