1. We have had like 5 good songs in how many years there has been eurovision. Most of the non-top 10 songs were just bad.

2. Are you sure you’re not thinking about Sweden? Because outside of two outliers Finland has kinda sucked in Eurovision.

3. Did Finland get good at Eurovision?

   Seems to me that there are two kinds of contests going on at Eurovision, one for doing the professionally acceptable, “we are serious” entries that appeal to the judges (and usually they honestly are good). But when you hear them you’re like yeah, this is good, but kind of bland, like an Oscar-bait movie that is good when you watch it.

   Then there are the honest bangers and crowdpleasers which are a bit tongue in cheek and humoristic but appeal to the crowd and win the crowd votes. Finland is good at these.
